Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of StreamIndexAI ("Service", "we", "us"), operated for the account and organization you create at signup ("Customer", "you"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity.

StreamIndexAI is a document ingestion, indexing, and search platform. The Service lets you upload documents or connect external data sources (object storage, SharePoint, databases), processes that content into a searchable index scoped to your organization, and provides administrative tools for access control, monitoring, and data governance.

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it current.
• You are responsible for all activity under your organization's account, including actions taken by teammates you invite. Owners and admins control who has access and at what role.
• You must notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

• New organizations receive a 14-day free trial with full access to the Starter plan feature set. No payment method is required to start a trial.
• Paid plans (Starter at $95/month, Pro at $140/month, or any successor pricing shown at checkout) are billed monthly in advance through our payment processor, Stripe. Taxes are calculated and added where applicable.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until canceled. You can cancel or change plans at any time from the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless stated otherwise at the time of cancellation.
• Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise. If a payment fails, we may suspend access to paid features until payment is resolved.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice before your next renewal.

You retain all ownership rights to the documents, files, and data you upload or connect to the Service ("Customer Data"). We do not claim ownership over Customer Data. You grant us a limited license to host, process, index, and display Customer Data solely to provide and improve the Service for your organization.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights and permissions to upload or connect any data to the Service, including data subject to third-party confidentiality obligations or data protection law.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload content you do not have the legal right to store or process;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another organization's data or account;
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service;
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the Service, except as permitted by law;
• Use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation.

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may perform scheduled or emergency maintenance, and features may change as the product evolves. Enterprise customers with specific uptime requirements should contact us to discuss a service level agreement.

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by StreamIndexAI and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or brand assets except as necessary to use the Service as intended.

You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms and do not cure the breach within a reasonable period after notice, or immediately in cases of suspected fraud, abuse, or legal risk. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ends; we handle deletion of Customer Data per our data retention practices and any retention period you've configured.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, StreamIndexAI will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or through the Service before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
